In the shop: Walnut Wall bed, Sassafras headboard

In progress, to be delivered next week, we have this beautiful Walnut Murphy Bed. The design of the front is new, and it features a sculpted wood handle. The curved horizontal element flips 90 degrees to become the foot of the bed when it is folded down. Under the bookcase is a roll out nightstand.

East Side Wall Bed and Office

This wallbed, bookcase, and desk are being delivered in Manhattan this morning. The client wanted a full-size fold down bed and an office that would go with her existing modern Cherry kitchen as well as her more traditional craftsman oak furniture. The bookcase features adjustable shelves and three dovetailed drawers on soft closing slides. The arch pulls are by Lee Valley.

Antiqued King Platform Bed with Storage

This king sized platform bed with six storage drawers turned out beautifully. The wood has been carefully antiqued and stained a dark chocolate tone. It features raised panels with beaded openings, a molding at the floor, and rounded corners with a cove detail that highlights the grain pattern in the Sassafras wood. This poster bed, constructed of hand selected Pennsylvania walnut, features a live edge slab as the headboard. The rough edges have been chiseled and sanded away, but the natural contours of the tree’s exterior remain. It is truly one of a kind and celebrates the essence of the tree.
