I absolutely LOVE this! Do you ship to Texas? If so, how much would you charge to make another one? (King size also…with the giant drawers!). After reading the comment above I am a little nervous about buying something preassembled since all of our bedrooms are upstairs…would there be an easier way to move this bad boy around? Great work…it is beautiful!

A queen four post bed of walnut or cherry is $2,850. If your local (tri-state) I will personally deliver and set-up your bed. That would include a live-edge headboard or a classically shaped one.

We recently made a queen bed with a very similar design for my son’s apartment… One work of advice when making a piece of furniture as big as this… Measure the path that must take to get it into the house… It is now in my guest room!

This bed uses a piston mechanism and is not the original murphy design. It is more functional and effortless with a catch to keep it from releasing if not intended. I have yet to meet someone who doesn’t want one of these. The murphy alone installed is about $3000. Add the cabinet to the side for a little more. The design is functional and elegant and well worth it in my opinion.
