The most unusual feature in this Christopher Peacock -inspired kitchen was this very snazzy Maple and Walnut checkerboard countertop section. “What is Christopher Peacock?”, you ask? It is very, very expensive and high end cabinetry. Here is a good description of what his kitchens involve.
The cabinets were painted a creamy off-white and one furniture – style piece with divided light doors was stained Cherry as an accent. The appliances in this kitchen had wood panels and wood pulls. The client chose exposed hinges, cupboard latches, and cast brass bin pulls. Her counters are a white marble and the kitchen is beautiful.
This large large Pine dining table sees a lot of use in this house. The top is quite a thick slab! Two long walnut live edge crotch flitches made into benches comprise the seating. Of course, a high chair fits great at the end, also!
This bookcase was built for a client’s home in Manhattan. The client requested a long bookcase up on legs with three shelves to store books in a hallway.We never met her until the piece was finished and delivered, all correspondence was handled electronically. The finish is semi-gloss designer white Magnamax lacquer. The piece is simple and classic and fit the space perfectly.  |
