The Springhouse Shop and Studio is located in Mossville's historic 1840 One-room Schoolhouse nestled in the heart of Pennsylvania hardwoods.
Adam Karr began his woodworking career in 1998. A former geologist, Adam worked for years with master craftsmen to learn his trade. After spending many long hours working out of his home woodshop, Adam finally opened his own shop in an old springhouse in Malvern. Years later, the Springhouse Woodshop moved to its current location in Benton, PA.
Adam and Nicole Karr were married in the former Mossville Church (currently their home) in 2005. Adam and Nicole have been business partners for years. They live in the renovated church, right next to the shop, with their dogs, Maple and Cypress. |
